Interesting Factoid

It occcured to me earlier today that we've been in Iraq for roughly as long as we were in World War II, though with somewhat less satisfying results, mostly owing to the fact that our commander in chief is a low-grade moron.

From December 7, 1941 to August 15, 1945 is 1347 days. 1347 days from the day we invaded Iraq (March 20, 2003) turns out to be one week from today, November 26.

Note that this comparison is actually grossly unfair to FDR, since it doesn't include all the time Jackass & Co spent planning the war while pretending to try to find a diplomatic solution. The better comparison would be to start Jackass' clock off at September 11 2001, when his brain apparently seized on the idea of attacking Saddam.

Nah, the clock started way before that, probably one day 1 of the presidency.

Let's just hope it doesn't end the same way as WWII.

I'll always remember the start of Iraq War II because the bombs started dropping about 10 minutes before I checked out of my hotel room the last time I was in New Orleans.

D'ya know I was having the same thought too, but wasn't as good at counting days - Eddie, who is now 3 1/2 wasn't even born when we went into Iraq. A lifetime of disaster!

I think it's time for you guys to plan another trip back to the U.S.

Since the Digital Photo Frame comes fully assembled, unlike frames that require you to attach the table stand , Digital Frames is pretty easy in terms of setup. However, the only way to get into the frame's menu is through the small remote control that comes with the frame, or use button on the frame, so if you lose it, you're in trouble. It would've been a good idea for Aluratek to include a button to access the menus on the frame itself, since small remotes like these are easily lost. Wholesale Digital Photo Frame
